Welcome to Star Swim
Where children learn through play and the fun has a progressive learning structure behind it! Star Swim was established more than 5 years ago as a specialised Learn to Swim Facility for children.
At Star Swim we operate on the simple philosophy that your child should enjoy their swimming lessons in a warm comfortable environment with highly qualified teachers. Star Swim also believes that every child will learn at their own pace and that the way to get the best out of each and every child is to provide that child with the environment and resources that make learning to swim enjoyable.
WHY TEACH YOUR CHILD TO SWIM?
Children that learn to swim become confident in all areas of their lives much faster than children not given the opportunity to swim. Learning to swim stimulates motor, cognitive and personal development in children, whilst teaching them a valuable skill for life. It is also important to remember that in world full of so many sporting and social choices for your child, Swimming is the only sport that can save their lives. Water safety is incorporated into every Star Swim lesson at all levels of our program. Drowning unfortunately remains the leading cause of accidental death of children under 5 years (including car accidents) and near drowning incidents can leave devastating permanent damage to a child. Enrolling your child in swimming lessons, year round throughout their most formative years of life, will decrease the chances of your child becoming one of these statistics.
WHY STAR SWIM?
Teaching children to swim is ALL we do!! The pools at Star Swim are heated to 33C year round (indoor Magnesium Learn to Swim pool & outdoor 25m 6 lane pool) which makes it a warm and comfortable place for your child to learn to swim. Star Swim has small class sizes, our program has been carefully designed to maximise your child’s development with caring staff who are passionate about their profession, well experienced and highly trained.
